Need help in identifying art pottery face possibly Irish / Gaelic?

I have 2 beautiful but unusual pieces of ceramic art face with both brands and artists. The signature is perfectly clear, written in mud on the bottom, but I can not decipher. You can only make the first 7 letters they are ... "Deichiu. The remaining letters may be "aua" I'm not sure. To do with the writing of reading. When googled the first 7 letters you see above, I have sites that were Irish and gaelic, some spoke about the respective languages. Hopefully I am at least on track. The logo and the same. I interpret a capital letter "D" and horizontally centered in him is the letter "Y". Under that is clearly marked either "NB 44" or " N3 44. "Pots are very heavy, 6.5" long, 3.5 "wide and 3.5" tall. The brown-glazed pottery of a color light green, I'd say. If someone with experience in collecting art pottery, Irish, Irish or whatever can help me identify what I would be very appreciated. Thank you,

HI ... Could you post a link so we could see it? Someone here might have better luck that way.
